Performance Comparison of Various Types of Cone Crushers

In recent years, in order to adapt to the changing and the strong demands of the market, various types of cone crushers are constantly researched and developed. The performance of the cone crushers manufactured by domestic and foreign companies is different, so it is manufactured by different manufacturing companies. At present, the main cone crusher types in our country include Simons cone crusher, gyratory cone crusher, single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher and HP series multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher.

Among the above-mentioned cone crushers, the HP series multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher has the highest production capacity, the lowest energy consumption and the best product granularity and it is able to realize selective crushing. Gyratory cone crusher has high energy consumption, and its production capacity is lower than that of the Simons cone crusher, however, it is able to provide more fine particles for the lower grinding mill so that the grinding mill will reach the energy saving effect of “more crushing and less grinding”. H1800 series crusher is a highly efficient crushing machine, but it does not adopt lamination crushing theory and cannot realize selective crushing. But in a whole it has the advantages of single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, and has the most advanced computer automatic control system. After the comparison, we can see that the HP series and H1800 series crusher is the most advanced crusher in the world.

As for the single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher and multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, the interaction effect of the materials inside the former crusher is relatively weak, and there is almost no selection during the crushing process, for this reason, its development is limited. And for the latter, its most important feature lies in that it adopts lamination crushing theory, so that it can realize selective crushing, thus satisfying the technical requirement of “more crushing and less grinding”.

From the above analysis, the development direction of the cone crusher is that the crusher will have high compression ratio, and the crushing chamber has enough ore quantity and adopts high pendulous frequency and long pendulous journey.
